West Burton Energy and EIG complete sale of West Burton Power Station to TotalEnergies

West Burton Energy and EIG announce the completion of the sale of West Burton B Power Station to TotalEnergies following satisfaction of all conditions to the agreement signed between the parties on 5th June 2024.

Following completion of the sale, EIG and the existing management team have established a new battery storage platform to progress its advanced development projects in the UK including Thorpe Marsh and West Burton C. Further details of this new platform will be released in due course.
