Fidra Energy is inviting local emerging artists for submissions to our Art Competition, with winners being featured in our Edinburgh headquarters.
Open to current students and recent graduates across Edinburgh and the Lothians, the competition offers the chance to win prizes and commissions totalling up to £5,000.
We are looking for original artwork that responds to the themes of sustainability, innovation, and the transition to cleaner energy.
You can submit an existing piece for one of our Meeting Room Awards, or enter the Board Room Commission category for the opportunity to create a bespoke artwork inspired by our namesake, Fidra Island.
Winning and shortlisted entries will be selected by our judging panel, including Fife-based artist Charina Beswick and Jilly Dobson of Edinburgh’s Open Eye Gallery.
Entries must be submitted by 23:39 on Sunday 5 July 2026.
